Our Mission

Our Mission is to attack root causes of issues rather than symptoms alone, in ways that prevent unhealthy long-term dependency. We work in partnership with communities, in an effort to promote a sense of local ownership, and responsibility for each project or initiative.

Because we ask the community to lead in its own development, our assistance is wide ranging. We bring whatever resources we have at our disposal to the table, and will seek other resources when community needs require it.

Examples of this include, but are not limited to: clean water location / drilling, sanitation and hygiene training, education, farming / food producing practices, and entrepreneurial endeavors.

What does this look like? It involves an ongoing relationship between Global Concern and communities. Before we begin a project, we encourage community leaders to develop a strategy for how they plan to manage, maintain, or leverage the resources provided by Global Concern.

Our Vision

Our Vision is for partner communities to thrive is such way that our presence becomes solely that of consultants, and friends.
